When we sat in the Music Room on the top floor of the School we were often treated (instead of ‘working‘) to one or even two whole sides of a long player but had absolutely no idea that 50 years later the old plywood gramophone would be replaced with today’s advanced technology of iPods and downloads!

This section contains many interviews and chats with ex-masters conducted in their own homes by old boys Adrian Appley, Andrew Baxter, Norman Baldwin and Graham Mitchell.

There were a total of four vinyl Long Playing records made by the School Band. You can now hear all 48 tracks recorded between 1969 and 1973.
We all have Kevin Saggers to thank for kindly recording all four records in a suitable format for publishing and for doing the same with Roy Burnham's copy of 'Trial by Jury'.
